In 1898, Hiram Clay Kellogg built one of the first Neoclassical Victorian homes in Orange County. After his first wife died, he built a mansion as a gift for his second wife, Helen. His obsession with tall ships led him to design a three-story spiral staircase arranged around a central mast with a bottomless crow’s nest. In 1921, Hiram died in the home, but Helen lived another 42 years before she died in the very same home. Presently, certain unexplained phenomena indicate that the ghosts of the Kellogg family may be actively haunting the uniquely designed mansion.

Ample free parking is available in front of the museum just outside the black iron main entrance gate.
Guest may check-in just inside the black iron gates adjacent to the elementary school parking lot.
Parking lot is not patrolled. Please be sure to secure your vehicle.
Tours begin promptly at 8:00 pm (please check your confirmation email. Start times may vary). Tour is approximately 90 minutes.
Please allow extra time for unforeseen heavy traffic or parking delays. We are not responsible for late arrivals or guest who show up at the wrong tour departure location.
