Under normal circumstances, tours run regardless of weather. In the event of a severe rain or wind storm please check your email for a possible tour cancellation announcement. In the event of a cancellation due to weather conditions, attendees will be given the choice of transferring their ticket to another upcoming tour date.

Not recommended for children under 8 years of age, however Haunted OC does leave it solely to the discretion of the parent or guardian to allow children under 8 to attend. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes, well behaved pets are allowed on the tours with the exception of the Santa Ana tour, pets will not be allowed inside the Howe-Waffle Mansion museum which is the last stop of the tour.

The Downtown Santa Ana tour will take you inside the 128 year old Howe-Waffle Mansion. Guest will get to tour the ground level of the mansion.
The Fairhaven After-Dark Cemetery tour takes guests inside the Mausoleum.

If you have handheld equipment that won’t be disruptive to others, you are encouraged to bring it. Although this is not a paranormal investigation, we will be entering areas where guest have caught some compelling photos.

Take as many photos and or video as you like, please be mindful of others when using flash photography as we will be entering some darkened areas.

On our city tours unlikely. Ghost sightings on walking tours in the busy downtown areas are rare. Although we have had several guests over the years hear unexplained sounds and catch some interesting photos inside the Howe-Waffle mansion in Santa Ana, as well as outside the Royer Mansion and the Chapman Alumni House on the Downtown Orange tour. On our Black Star Canyon tour however, guests have reported seeing dark figures or “shadow people” moving alongside the trail besides them as well as being touched.

The Old Town Orange and San Juan Capistrano Ghost Walks are completely wheelchair accessible. The Santa Ana Ghost Walk is NOT. The last stop of the tour is the inside of the Howe-Waffle Mansion. There are 4 steps to enter inside the house. The Black Star Canyon tour is on a compacted gravel trail for the most part and could be difficult for a wheelchair to maneuver over certain sections of the trail.

With the exception of the Black Star Canyon ghost walk which is nearly 3-hours, all other tours run approximately 90 minutes.
